The New York Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in a fatal shooting that occurred in the Bronx last Sunday. NYPD Crimestoppers reported that at around 6:45 P.M., on May 18, an unidentified shooter opened fire on a 57-year-old man in front of 374 East 188 Street, striking him in the head and ultimately leading to his death. The assailant fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on East 188 Street.
Authorities have yet to release a description of the suspect and are reaching out to the community for assistance. The NYPD is urging anyone with information to come forward, noting that the details can be reported anonymously.
