Two men are currently the target of a search by the NYPD following an assault and robbery that occurred in Brooklyn earlier last month. The NYPD Crimestoppers took to social media to broadcast their appeal for information, detailing the violent event that transpired on April 8 at around 2:30 p.m. inside a location tagged as 478 Bushwick Avenue.
According to the NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook post, the suspects entered into a confrontation with a 49-year-old man that quickly escalated. It's reported that they struck the victim with a metal object, followed to punch him in the face with closed fists, and subsequently removed personal property from him.
The NYPD has actively been seeking the public's assistance in the case and is offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest of these individuals. Anyone with information about this crime or who may have witnessed the event is encouraged to come forward and make a report.
