Oak Creek Public Library is offering free technology classes to help community members convert analog media and build computer skills.

According to the Oak Creek government website, starting June 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the Convert Your Memories – Analog to Digital class will teach participants how to digitize items like VHS tapes and photographs using the library’s equipment.

In July, Basic Computer Skills sessions will run every Thursday from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., covering topics such as using a mouse, managing files, and navigating email. These classes are designed for beginners.

For more experienced users, Computer Skills 2.0 will be held on Thursdays in August at the same time. These sessions will focus on desktop navigation, internet search techniques, and online safety.

All classes require advance registration due to limited seating. Registration opens one month before each class series begins. To sign up, visit the library's website or call 414-766-7900.
