Residents of Oak Creek and nearby areas are getting ready for a day dedicated to health and wellness at the 9th Annual Oak Creek Health Fair. Hosted by the City of Oak Creek Health Department and the Salvation Army Oak Creek Senior Center, the event will take place on Thursday, May 8. It’s designed to be a helpful resource for those looking to learn more about programs and services that support healthy living, as reported by the City of Oak Creek.
According to the City of Oak Creek’s official website, the health fair is free and open to the public. It will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering a chance for attendees to take part in health screenings, explore wellness services, and speak directly with local health providers and vendors. The fair aims to give residents easy access to valuable health information and tools in a friendly, welcoming setting.
The event will be held at the Salvation Army Oak Creek, located at 8853 S. Howell Ave. In addition to health resources, a few food concessions will be available throughout the venue, as per the City of Oak Creek. The fair encourages the community to come together, learn more about healthy living, and take advantage of the support available right in their own neighborhood.
