The department's latest push comes amid a celebration of the small business community's significant presence in the state, which according to a recent news release, boasts over 90,000 small business retailers.
"Development is encouraging Ohioans to support small businesses this week — and every week — by shopping local," the release underlined, highlighting the crucial role these enterprises play in the local economy the importance of sustained community support isn't just a nice-to-have, it’s essential for the economic vitality of the region, the state recognizes this and is putting its money where its mouth is through a variety of programs.
