The impact led to Ellison's vehicle veering off the road and overturning multiple times, resulting in her death and that of her seven-month-old unborn child after being taken to Toledo Hospital.

The 24-year-old driver of the Chrysler initially fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended at a nearby gas station.
