On Friday last week, Oklahoma City Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim who had been taken to a local hospital by private vehicle. The victim, identified as Audrey Elizondo, was shot while inside a vehicle near NW 10th Street and N. May Avenue. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, Tymaine Reed was handling a firearm when it discharged, striking Elizondo.

Elizondo died from her injuries on last Saturday. Initially, Reed was arrested on complaints of domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Following Elizondo’s death, the charges were amended to second-degree murder. The incident is listed as Homicide #21 of 2025.
