The second chase took place later that day at 4:48 p.m., initiating when a driver in a silver Hyundai Sonata also chose not to comply with a routine traffic stop on Interstate 85 South, that pursuit moved through multiple counties and involved an attempted PIT maneuver by troopers, which was unsuccessful, the suspect ultimately exited the vehicle and managed to elude apprehension; this individual has not yet been identified and remains at large, Fox 5 Atlanta noted that no civilian vehicles or pedestrians were harmed during this event.
