
Tragedy struck Orange County over the weekend as deputies began investigating the death of 19-year-old Ka’Vrone Westmoreland. According to WFTV, Westmoreland was fatally shot on Silver Star Road early yesterday morning.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office, confirming details of the incident, stated that Westmoreland was found with a gunshot wound around 1:45 a.m. on May 11. The 6000 block of Silver Star Road became a crime scene that morning, as detailed by FOX 35 Orlando. Westmoreland, following the shooting, was promptly transported to a local hospital. Efforts by medical professionals could not save him, and he was pronounced deceased.
In the wake of the shooting, authorities have ramped up their search for the individual responsible. The sheriff's office is actively piecing together information about the circumstances of Westmoreland's death. A $5,000 reward through Crimeline has been announced, hoping it might lead to an arrest in the case.
