Orange County authorities are requesting the public's assistance to locate a man connected with an attempted kidnapping incident that took place earlier this month. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has stated that Crimeline is now offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to the secure arrest of the suspect involved in the harrowing event.
The situation unfolded last Sunday morning, when a woman walking her dog near Adanson Street and Lee Road was pursued by a gray Toyota 4Runner, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando. After driving past several times, the driver of the vehicle abruptly blocked her path. According to what the woman told authorities, the man then brandished a handgun and ordered her to get in the car.
The woman quickly escaped the scene while the man drove off, leaving authorities to discover later that the 4Runner was abandoned and subsequently identify it as stolen, as detailed by WFTV. The suspect’s description is brief: a man with black hair, an average build, and possibly sporting a tattoo on his left forearm.
Those who might recognize the individual in question or have information pertinent to this case are encouraged to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or dial Crimeline directly at 1-800-423-TIPS.
