The Philadelphia Police Department is earnestly seeking assistance from the public to help locate a missing 12-year-old girl, Sara Cristina De Paula Souza. Reported missing since yesterday, May 5, Sara was last seen on the 1800 block of Cottman Ave at 8:00 AM. A recent bulletin published by the department describes her as being 5’2”, weighing 120lbs., and was last spotted wearing a black zip-up sweater, blue jeans, and white/black sneakers.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to promptly come forward. In a request that seemed to carry an air of urgency, the Philadelphia Police emphasized the community’s role in these situations. "If you have any information regarding Sara’s whereabouts, please contact Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153," as stated on the Philadelphia Police Department's official website.
