Yesterday, a SWAT situation developed in Pittsburgh's Lincoln Place neighborhood, resulting in the arrest of 24-year-old Christopher Dotson. After police were called to the 5700 block of Mifflin Road due to a physical domestic incident, Dotson eventually surrendered to authorities, according to a report by WTAE.
The incident began when the police and SWAT teams responded to the domestic disturbance. A woman involved in the incident was able to exit the home safely, while the man, later identified as Dotson, barricaded himself inside. The standoff prompted officials to shut down a section of Mifflin Road between Buttermilk Hollow Road and Mohrbach Street. The man's identity was not immediately released following his surrender and subsequent custody.
Dotson is now facing multiple charges and is being held at the Allegheny County Jail. Details concerning the specific charges have not been provided.
