The City of Plymouth is gearing up for a community open house to discuss the forthcoming Station 73 TRIP project, inviting residents to drop in between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 29. According to the City of Plymouth, the event will take place in the Medicine Lake Room of Plymouth City Hall, located at 3400 Plymouth Blvd.
A key infrastructure venture, the Station 73 TRIP project, is set to commence this summer at the intersection of Highway 55 and County Road 73. In a statement made by the City of Plymouth's official website, officials announced that the project will include the complete shutdown of Highway 55 starting in June, stretching from Revere Lane to West Medicine Lake Drive. This closure is anticipated to facilitate a series of road, transit, trail, and utility improvements in the area.
The City of Plymouth, Hennepin County, Three Rivers Park District, the Metropolitan Council, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation are collaborating to advance this major development. This large-scale project is expected to significantly improve regional infrastructure. The Station 73 TRIP project is scheduled for completion in fall 2026.
Residents affected by the project, or those interested in the changes coming to Plymouth's corridors, can find additional information and sign up for email updates at the project's webpage. The city has also provided a hotline at 763-251-1010 and an email address at [email protected] for the community to reach out with any questions or concerns they might have as the project unfolds, as stated by the City of Plymouth.
