
A man has been arrested in Princeville, linked to a recent structure fire that emergency services had to tackle. On Thursday morning, first responders were hurriedly called to Namakeha Loop due to a blaze ripping through a building. The fire was successfully extinguished by personnel from the Kaua‘i Fire Department, with no casualties reported in the inferno.
Further investigation led to a rapid arrest. The Kaua‘i Police Department, piecing together evidence from witness statements and surveillance technology, concluded the fire had been deliberately lit. Krishna Lysowski, a 51-year-old local resident, was subsequently arrested on the scene, related to the investigation without any commotions following the fire.
Lysowski is now facing serious charges. He has been accused of Arson in the First Degree, according to an official report from the Kaua‘i County on the incident, with his bail has been set at a steep $102,000. He remains in custody at the Kaua‘i Police Department cellblock, awaiting further legal proceedings.
