The second suspect in the Montgomery Village homicide case turned himself in to the authorities. Last Saturday, 19-year-old Jorden Nylen Hungerford surrendered to Rockville City Police. Hungerford, a Hyattsville resident, is linked to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Henry Krishawn Gilbert, as detailed in a press release from the Montgomery County Police Department.
After surrendering, Hungerford was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. While being served with an arrest warrant, he was charged with first-degree murder. Last Thursday, Demari Howard Brown, a 20-year-old resident of Montgomery Village, was taken into custody in the same case, the Montgomery County Police Department reported.
With Hungerford now in custody, both suspects accused in the homicide that shook the local community are awaiting judicial proceedings. A bond hearing has been slated for Hungerford today, signaling the next step in a legal process that the community hopes will bring clarity and resolution.
