Cheers to the young scholars of Sevier County as the 6th Grade LEADS (Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence) program at New Center Elementary School has concluded with a celebration of its graduates.
The Sevier County Sheriff's Office took to social media to commend the graduating class for their "hard work and dedication during this program." Adding a touch of communal pride, they also expressed their hope that the lessons instilled about resisting drugs and violence would be carried with the students into the future.
In a post marked with warm congratulations, the Sevier County Sheriff's Office also gave a special nod of gratitude to those who facilitated the program. Mentioned were the New Center Elementary School Administration, SRO Graham Ownby, Sergeant Bobby Owens, and the parents or guardians who allowed their children to partake in the LEADS initiative.
