This Saturday, Sevierville residents and visitors will need to reroute their day around the Bruce Street Brewfest event. The Sevierville Police Department announced on its social media that a section of Bruce Street will be temporarily closed off to all traffic from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. this Saturday.
Encompassing the stretch between Court Avenue and the Parkway, the closure is meant to make space for the anticipated gathering. Attendees will also render the City parking lot, which is usually bustling with the daily exchange of visitors and locals, and the adjacent gazebo inaccessible during these hours. "The closures are necessary to facilitate the Bruce Street Brewfest special event," as stated in the post.
As the Brewfest is expected to attract a lively crowd, police and event organizers are putting measures in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants. While the closure will undoubtedly impact the routine Saturday hustle, the City lot, home to daily errands and meet-ups, will regain its usual role post-event. "The City parking lot and gazebo on Bruce Street will also be closed during this period," clarifies the Sevierville Police Department.
