
The entrepreneurial ship is set to sail at Shoreline City Hall next Thursday, May 22, as the Navigating Success Small Business Forum marks its return. Local small businesses and budding entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to network, glean insights from established business leaders, and dive into various workshops tailored specifically to business foundations, growth, innovation, resilience, and adaptability. The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the City of Shoreline and the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC), are hosting this event from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with an array of resourceful participants lined up.
According to an announcement published by the City of Shoreline, the forum will kick off with a panel discussion featuring Shoreline business mavens ready to share their strategies on navigating change and achieving success. This session is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Attendees can later expect to enjoy light refreshments at 5:30 p.m., allowing them to casually network and exchange ideas before immersing themselves further into the evening's programming.
The structure of the forum is designed to offer choices and flexibility. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., attendees can selectively to attend workshops that are split into three tracks: Business Foundations, Growth and Innovation, and Business Resilience and Adaptability. Each track offers a sequence of three engaging and informative workshops. The resource area, featuring representatives from a variety of business-related agencies such as the Business Impact Northwest, King County Library, and the US Small Business Administration (SBA), will be accessible from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., providing a valuable touchpoint for participants seeking specific guidance or services.
Local sponsors supporting the forum include a mix of financial and coaching services such as Insperity, BECU, WAFD, Seattle Credit Union, Creative Catapult Coaching, Heritage Bank, and Moonshine Wellness. Shoreline Mayor Chris Roberts emphasized the importance of the annual event, sharing with the City of Shoreline, "We are excited to continue this annual tradition of connecting Shoreline’s vibrant and diverse small businesses community with premier small business experts."
