Officer Fidoe's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, respectively, from Ashland University and Bowling Green State University.
Before joining the police department, Officer Fidoe honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and was discharged with distinction after being deployed to Iraq. His 19 years of experience in law enforcement saw Officer Fidoe serve as a tactical officer and team leader for Metro SWAT. According to the social media post from the Springfield Township Police Department, Officer Fidoe has brought “a wealth of real-world experience to our community.”
Further cementing his credentials, Officer Fidoe has a history of contributing to law enforcement education. He has introduced advanced tactical training, coordinated sessions with staff at Springfield High School, and has played a key role in implementing advanced equipment designed to improve the safety and efficiency of the force.
