St. Louis Metropolitan Police detectives are searching for four individuals connected to a series of business burglaries that occurred in the early hours of April 27. According to the department's official website, the suspects were seen driving a blue Hyundai Sonata without a license plate and first struck on the 3100 block of Locust, parking in front of Hidden Gem Bar, where they shattered the front door with a concrete brick and rummaged through the empty cash register before fleeing.

Not long after their initial crime, at approximately 4:16 a.m., the same suspects hit Sophie's Artist Lounge located in the 3300 block of Washington; once inside, after breaking the glass door with another brick they seized four bottles of liquor, again they made a quick getaway in the Sonata. The vehicle, a central piece in the burglary puzzle, was used by a member of the group who moved into the driver seat to ensure a swift escape after the crimes committed at Hidden Gem and Sophie's Artist Lounge.

Detailed descriptions of the suspects have been disseminated by the authorities, with the first suspect being identified as a black male, medium brown complexion, attired in a navy-blue puffer jacket, ripped blue jeans, grayish-colored shoes, a black face mask and dark gloves; his accomplice wore a black hooded sweatshirt and joggers with black and white shoes, a checkered manbag, and his face obscured by sunglasses and a balaclava, a large tan tote bag in hand. A third associate, who took charge of the vehicle, was similarly dressed in dark colors and a balaclava, only stepping out from the shadows of the Sonata to enable their departure. A fourth suspect remains uncharacterized, a specter in the night's misdeeds.

The St. Louis Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved. Surveillance images and footage released by the department are part of their appeal for information related to the incidents. Anyone with relevant details is encouraged to contact authorities.
