An urgent Amber Alert has been issued for Skylar Beach, a 10-year-old girl, who was last seen Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Hamlin, Texas. The FOX 26 Houston reports that Skylar is believed to have been abducted by Terry Jeter, a 43-year-old man identified by authorities, who may be traveling on a black 2002 Suzuki motorcycle with Texas license plate 138A4V.
Skylar is a white female, around 5 feet 2 inches tall, 78 pounds, with auburn hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a navy blue shirt, pink shorts, and red Converse shoes when she was last seen. Law enforcement officials are convinced that Skylar is to likely be in immediate danger. Jeter, the suspect, is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, as per the Hamlin Police Department's release.
The Houston Chronicle has shared additional details confirming that the Amber Alert has now gone statewide. The Hamlin Police Department is intensifying efforts to locate the missing child who disappeared from the 500 block of Avenue G. Hamlin is situated roughly 190 miles west of Fort Worth, expanding the search area significantly.
