Yesterday, an incident broke out that led to a distressing emergency call. According to a social media post by the Suisun City Police Department, at approximately 6 PM, dispatchers were alerted to a violent confrontation on the 4500 block of Olive Ave. Officers were promptly on the scene, where they encountered two individuals, a male and a female, suffering from injuries consistent with a knife attack.
The victims, both treated at the scene, were subsequently transported to a local hospital for further care, having sustained moderate injuries. Stable in their conditions now, the reflection of that evening's events is an unsettling ripple through the community. Following an investigation into the matter, police ascertained that the male involved, a 55-year-old resident of Suisun City, was the assailant who had used an edged weapon on the female victim and then turned it upon himself.
After these discoveries, the authorities took the male into custody. The individual, facing consequences beyond this incident, also had outstanding warrants from another county, adding weight to his apprehension. He has since been booked into county jail, where he awaits proceedings for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, among other related charges.
