Drivers in Carver County should brace themselves for a summer of slowdowns as maintenance work on the Highway 101 bridge kicks off this week. Motorists commuting between Highway 61 (Flying Cloud Drive) in Chanhassen and the Minnesota River Boat Launch and Archery Park in Shakopee should expect delays, as the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction throughout the duration of the project.
Additionally, there's talk of a one-night full closure near the project’s conclusion, with specifics to be announced later.
