CenterPoint Energy announced that the work, which is set to begin on June 2, will focus on meter moves and service line upgrades, intending to enhance safety and reliability. Homes on streets illustrated in blue on the project map will receive service work, while others will not.

They stated, "CenterPoint Energy will send a postcard in the mail before the service crew comes on site." Final restoration of the roads and sidewalks is scheduled to follow a few weeks after construction is finished.
