A Tampa man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred earlier this month. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Curtez Frazier, 22, was taken into custody yesterday and charged with Attempted Murder in the First Degree with a Weapon.
The incident happened earlier this month in the 12000 block of University Club Drive. The victim, who has not been identified, sustained serious upper body injuries and was transported to the hospital. Their current condition has not been released.
Frazier had been released from the Florida Department of Corrections on February 6. His criminal history includes prior charges for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Frazier was arrested without incident and credited their detectives for the investigation. The case remains active, and additional information will be released by the Public Affairs Office as it becomes available.
