According to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police Department, Saturday evening, around 9:50 p.m., a group of suspects allegedly attacked two individuals near the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and M Street, Southeast, forcefully taking their belongings.
Responding officers, who were on patrol in the vicinity, managed to quickly apprehend one of the suspects following the incident. Without facing resistance during the arrest, the investigation by MPD detectives led to a 14-year-old male from Southeast D.C. being charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
