The 17-year-old was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital, while the 18-year-old's condition has necessitated hospitalization. As part of the investigation, officials have released surveillance footage from inside the store that appears to show an exchange of gunfire among three individuals, according to information provided by a store employee to FOX 5.
In the wake of the shooting, local residents expressed their reactions. Quajanay White, a customer at the gas station, told FOX 5 she finds the prevailing gun violence to be "really crazy." Another customer, Ray Nelson, suggested increased patrols might reduce such incidents and also relayed his view that limiting loitering outside the store could promote safety.

The identity of the individuals involved in the latest incident remains undisclosed, and the perpetrator has yet to be apprehended.
