As reported by the Texas governor's press release, Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson emphasized the potential benefits, saying, "Today’s gathering is an important step toward deepening ties with Jordan, a resilient economy with a thriving entrepreneurial culture and an expanding role in global trade."

Adriana Cruz, the Executive Director of Texas Economic Development & Tourism, highlighted Texas's status as a global business hub and its capacity to actively compete internationally. In her remarks, she underlined the state's intention to deeply embed our economic relationship with Jordan. "It was an honor to welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan to Texas and to host some of Texas’ top business leaders who are driving innovation across critical industries around the world," Cruz stated, according to the Office of the Texas Governor release.

Representatives from sectors such as energy, cryptocurrency mining, semiconductors, defence manufacturing, and drone technology were in attendance, offering His Majesty King Abdullah II insight into Texas's primary industries. These discussions held promise for potential partnerships in technology and commerce, with both parties looking to expand their international foothold. The roundtable, facilitated by the Governor's Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office, the Texas Secretary of State’s Office, and the Texas Economic Development Corporation, served as a platform for presenting Texas as a destination ripe with opportunity for business innovation and growth.
