Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with a series of robberies along the Metropolitan Branch Trail. The incidents occurred on the evening of Wednesday, and involved the suspects forcibly taking headphones from individuals in different areas of Northeast Washington, D.C, according to the Metropolitan Police Department release.

Police were alerted around 6:00 p.m. and responded to the scene. With assistance from MPD's helicopter unit, Falcon One, officers identified and arrested the suspects. Stolen items were recovered during the arrests.

The suspects, aged 13, 15, and 17, are charged with four counts of robbery (snatch) in connection with thefts that took place between 5:47 p.m. and 5:56 p.m. The incidents occurred from the 100 block of Florida Avenue to the 1800 block of 4th Street, NE.

The suspects approached victims and stole their headphones. Each incident has been documented with case numbers provided in the department’s statement. All three suspects are residents of Northeast D.C. The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking the public to report any additional information or suspicious activity.
