It’s official: TikTok star Alix Earle, who has gained over 7.5 million followers for her beauty and lifestyle content, will compete in the 34th season of "Dancing with the Stars." The announcement was made on "Good Morning America." The 24-year-old social media influencer and girlfriend of Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios will join other celebrities competing for the Mirrorball Trophy on ABC. The show will also be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu the following day. The full lineup of celebrities and professional dancers has not yet been announced, according to ABC13.
Between preparing content for millions and sharing her life on her "Hot Mess" podcast, Earle maintains a consistent public presence following her rise to internet celebrity status. As ABC13 reports, in addition to her Forbes list recognition, Earle was named Allure’s Beauty Creator of 2024 and stated that she is "obsessed with" DWTS. A competitive dancer in high school, Earle told Elle, "I love a good performance," commenting on her involvement in the show.
Alix Earle has been active in the digital space and has also been seen in Houston with Berrios since his signing with the Texans. In a recent vlog obtained by Chron, she documented their activities around the city, including visits to La La Land for coffee, dining at Toca Madera and Clark’s Oyster Bar in Montrose, as well as undergoing routine bloodwork.
Earle stated, "I'm so excited to be in Texas, I can't believe I manifested this," referring to her goals for both Berrios’s career and her own. During a visit to a Post Oak hotel, she credited herself jokingly for Berrios’s move, indicating her involvement in their lives. Observers will see how her Texas presence and social media background influence her participation on the "Dancing with the Stars" stage, as reported by Chron.
