Early Tuesday morning, Michigan State Police apprehended two suspects after a pursuit of four-wheelers on I-75, which culminated near Stellantis headquarters in Auburn Hills. As reported by FOX 2 Detroit, the chase started on the freeway and ended when the suspects veered into a nearby wooded area. Approximately 20 patrol cars blockaded Chrysler Drive as the search for the suspects began around 7:30 a.m.

Despite the early morning efforts, a third suspect remains at large. Police, along with dogs and a boat, sifted through the wooded terrain, characterized as swampy, as there is a pond in the area, in their ongoing search for the individual. This cooperation, capturing two of the suspects, included Michigan State Police, Auburn Hills Police, and the Oakland County Sheriff's Department, according to Audacy.

These events appear to have been initiated when the Auburn Hills Police Department notified state troopers of ATVs driving down I-75. The stolen ATVs attracted police attention, prompting a "Be on the Look Out" bulletin. The Metro North troopers, after being contacted for a stolen vehicle complaint, managed to take two of the suspects into custody for a larceny investigation, according to ClickOnDetroit.

The chase started in Groveland Township and headed south toward the Stellantis headquarters. Stellantis workers got text alerts about the police activity happening nearby. Witnesses said the area was not a usual place for ATVs, suggesting they were being used illegally. By 10:30 a.m., most police had left the scene, but one suspect was still missing.
