
Two individuals were transported to the hospital following a shooting incident in Kalamazoo early Sunday morning, according to multiple reports. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to reports of a shooting near North Westnedge Avenue and Ada Street at approximately 1:20 a.m, as WOOD TV 8 detailed. The officers discovered evidence of gunfire but did not find victims at the scene.
A separate report by News Channel 3 WWMT revealed that the two victims later presented themselves at local hospitals with non life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite immediate law enforcement efforts, the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting remain at large, and the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is actively seeking information from the public.
