The chance of precipitation for Saturday spikes to 60 percent, escalating further into the evening with a 90 percent chance alongside possible thunderstorms and overnight lows settling around 47 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
The NWS anticipates a wet continuation into Sunday, where showers and possible thunderstorms could persist post-noon, with a 90 percent chance of precipitation and highs around 56 degrees. By Sunday night, the likelihood of showers decreases to 50 percent, while clouds continue to blanket the sky and temperatures hang near 41 degrees. The wet weather is expected to subside slightly by Monday, presenting a 30 percent chance of morning showers before giving way to partly sunny skies and highs edging close to 57 degrees.
Looking forward to next week, Salt Lake City residents can anticipate a clearer change in conditions. Monday night is projected to be mostly clear, with lows hovering around 43 degrees. A sunny Tuesday with highs will make for a comfortable climb to near 70 degrees. The upward trend continues through mid-week, with Wednesday and Thursday both promising sunshine and warmer temperatures, reaching highs of 78 and 82 degrees, respectively.
