To strengthen community ties and bolster educational outreach in Northeast Ohio, Verizon has partnered with Cleveland State University (CSU) to establish a new Verizon Community Forward Learning Center. The center, now gracing CSU's Julka Hall, aims to provide free tutoring and support programs for K-12 students and extend its reach to serve a wider demographic, including college students, adult learners, and local small business owners.

The partnership marks another successful collaboration in the region. Two other centers are already operational: one at the Cleveland Clark-Fulton Learning Center within the Cleveland Public Library and another at the Union-Miles Learning Center, situated in the Earle B. Turner Recreation Center. Cleveland State University reports that the initiative from JumpStart Cleveland is renowned for equipping tech startups and small businesses with the necessary growth tools.

At the heart of this initiative is the potential to enrich the local educational landscape. "Together, we are doubling down on technology, expertise and community-focused programming to meet the evolving needs of students, residents and entrepreneurs across Northeast Ohio," JumpStart CEO Julia Jacono told Cleveland State University, emphasizing the collective effort.

The CSU's Verizon Community Forward Learning Center is distinct in its provision, featuring expanded resources to serve a broader audience.
