Wauwatosa will hold its Memorial Day Observance on May 26 at 9:00 a.m. at Hart Park near the skateboard park. The event, announced by the City of Wauwatosa will commemorate military personnel who lost their lives in service.
The ceremony will include a guest speaker and an appearance by the Mayor. A key part of the event will be the official groundbreaking for the Wauwatosa Veterans Memorial, a project made possible through community fundraising efforts.
The public is encouraged to attend. The Veterans Memorial Committee will share updates on the memorial's progress, which aims to establish a permanent site to honor fallen service members.
