Summer is almost upon us, and it's bringing more than just sunshine and beach trips. Book lovers in the community will be excited to hear that the White Settlement Library is rolling out its Summer Reading Program. According to a social media post from White Settlement Community Services, this year's program kicks off on June 9 and runs through August 1. It's not just for kids, adults can join the literary fun as well.
Participants can track their reading through the READSquared app or by navigating to the dedicated website. If you're a returning reader, logging in seems like a breeze. "Just log in, head to “My Account,” and click “Add Program” to jump into this year’s challenge," the White Settlement Community Services instructs. With each book milestone achieved, readers earn prizes and a shot at the grand prize drawing. It's a win-win: enjoy your reads and get rewarded for it too.
Of course, reading isn't the only way to earn points. Reviewing books, attending library events, and completing the program's challenges also contribute to your prize-winning opportunities. With every new activity, participants increase their chances of winning, encouraging a diverse summer experience that goes beyond the page.
