A fatal collision claimed the life of a Whitmore Lake man late Monday night in Washtenaw County. The incident, involving a head-on crash with a semi truck and trailer, took place around 11 p.m. on M-14, near Vorhies Road in Superior Township, as reported by ClickOnDetroit. The Michigan State Police suspect that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
According to the Michigan State Police Brighton Post, the 26-year-old male driver of an Acura MDX was heading west in the eastbound lane and collided with the semi truck driven by a 25-year-old male from Ontario, who thankfully sustained only minor injuries however the fact remains that another life was needlessly cut short on the road.
