
A fatal collision claimed the life of a Whitmore Lake man late Monday night in Washtenaw County. The incident, involving a head-on crash with a semi truck and trailer, took place around 11 p.m. on M-14, near Vorhies Road in Superior Township, as reported by ClickOnDetroit. The Michigan State Police suspect that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
According to the Michigan State Police Brighton Post, the 26-year-old male driver of an Acura MDX was heading west in the eastbound lane and collided with the semi truck driven by a 25-year-old male from Ontario, who thankfully sustained only minor injuries however the fact remains that another life was needlessly cut short on the road. The Michigan State Police are urging anyone with information about the crash to make contact at 810-227-1051, as stated on X by MSP First District.
