
A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured in a shooting on Tuesday night in northwest Houston. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Long Point Road and Woodvine Drive, as reported by Click2Houston. The Houston Police Department is investigating and working to determine the events leading up to the shooting.
Police say the woman was found dead at the scene, while the man, who had been shot multiple times, walked to a nearby business to get help. According to Lt. R. Willkens, several shots were fired at both victims before the suspect or suspects left the area.

His condition has not been shared. Police are looking for witnesses and gathering information. "We have another individual, male in his early 40s, left this location and made it all the way down to Johanna — I think that’s the road down there — and actually got help from a store clerk down there," Lt. Wilkens told KHOU. It is not yet known whether the shooting occurred from a vehicle or at close range. No suspects or motive have been identified at this time.
