A one-year-old child was hospitalized in Orlando following a report of a possible drowning incident, as per the Orlando Police Department. FOX 35 Orlando reported that authorities arrived at the scene on the 1900 block of Lakemont Avenue after receiving the call. The Orlando Fire Department also responded, and they were responsible for transporting the child to a local hospital for further medical attention.
According to WESH, details surrounding the events that led to this emergency remain scant, and as of this afternoon, the child’s condition had not been shared with the public.
Police have not released any additional information about the circumstances of the drowning. However, what is evident is the quick response of local first responders, who provided immediate care to the child.
