The incident unfolded in the 5800 block of Elon Drive, a stretch of road lying to the south of Clarcona Ocoee Road in the Pine Hills area. At the scene, they met with a pair of individuals: an 18-year-old man and the injured 19-year-old woman. The duo conveyed that while they were driving, an unknown assailant fired upon their vehicle, resulting in the woman's wound. The woman has since been rushed to a hospital and, as per deputies’ statements, is fortunately recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
