
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a mass shooting at a North Carolina party that left one individual dead and eleven others injured. According to a People report, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the suspect, Garon Nathaniel Killian of Lenoir, N.C., faces charges of attempted first-degree murder following the incident on Walnut Acres Drive in Mountain View.
The tragic event unfolded at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, in a typically quiet residential neighborhood. Per an article by CBS News, at least 80 shots were fired, causing attendees to run and take cover. The crime scene spanned over several properties, encompassing both indoor and outdoor areas of the neighborhood.
