An early Saturday morning in Akron turned tragic with the death of a 24-year-old man from a gunshot wound. Cleveland 19 reported that the Akron Police Department received calls around 3:42 a.m. and responded to the incident on the 600 block of Darrow Road.
Found by officers at the scene, the young man was quickly administered emergency first aid, but despite their efforts, and having been taken to the hospital, he was pronounced dead afterwards.
