
An early morning domestic conflict turned deadly this past Saturday in Akron when a 21-year-old man, Antoine Pixley, was accused of fatally stabbing his roommate and injuring his mother and stepfather. As reported by Cleveland19, police responded to an emergency call just after 1 a.m. Regarding the altercation that took place on the 12000 block of Bee Bee Circle.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 44-year-old man, Pixley's stepfather, along with a 22-year-old man, both suffering from stab wounds. The younger man, later identified as Pixley's roommate, succumbed to his injuries. Running from the scene before authorities arrived, Pixley was later apprehended following a detailed search operation.
According to FOX8 News, Pixley's escape vehicle was found by law enforcement on the 3100 block of Gilchrist Rd, and a knife was discovered inside it. Akron police, assisted by K-9 units, subsequently located and arrested Pixley after a dogged pursuit.
While the case is ongoing, Pixley now faces charges of murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence, according to information obtained from court documents by WKYC. He is expected to be arraigned Monday morning, bringing some degree of legal consequence to what ended in a tragic loss of life.
