The Ann Arbor community is thrust into a collective effort as the Ann Arbor Police Department seeks assistance in locating Ralph Yang, an 82-year-old man with Parkinson's disease, who vanished after what was supposed to be a routine walk through his neighborhood. According to ClickOnDetroit, Yang was last seen around 7:15 p.m. yesterday in the area of Pin Oak Drive and White Oak Drive.
Yang, wearing a long-sleeved light blue shirt with white stripes and light blue pants, ventured out and did not return home, sparking concerns for his safety due to his medical condition. Based on his description provided by police, he stands at 5’6” and weighs 140 pounds, featuring brown eyes that have likely witnessed much in his eight decades, and gray hair that speaks of the advancing years, as reported by WXYZ.
The authorities have elevated the urgency of their call for public involvement, aware that each passing moment could be critical for Yang. They are urging anyone with information to help weave together the threads that might lead back to Yang's safe return. "Anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Ann Arbor Police Department front desk at (734) 794-6920," a reminder echoed by both ClickOnDetroit and FOX 2 Detroit.
