The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is gearing up for its latest offering to the local nonprofit sector, with two new Impact Learning Series events slated for this month. The educational sessions are designed to arm organizations with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of nonprofit management and fiscal responsibility.
First up on the calendar is "Donuts & Doing Good: Risk-proofing Your Nonprofit – Simple Steps to Protect Your Mission," scheduled for Wednesday. Hosted in Conference Room A of the Human Resources Building at 501 W. Sanford, the event promises to be a deep dive into safeguarding nonprofit organizations against a myriad of risks that could potentially derail their missions. Then, on June 13, "Bagels and Betterment: Nonprofit Accounting – Preparing for Tax Season/Audits and Financial Considerations" will take place at the Bob Duncan Center, offering insights into the financial nuances of nonprofit operations, per the City of Arlington.
These successions of events underscore the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation's commitment to strengthening local nonprofits through educational outreach. In a statement obtained by the City of Arlington, TX - City Hall, attendees are encouraged to "learn more about these sessions and reserve your spots" at their online portal.
