The Minneapolis Police Department took to social media to share a recent incident where a man attempted an armed robbery at a liquor store on the 1000 block of Washington Avenue South. The confrontation escalated when the man drew a gun and demanded cash from the employees.
The employees' response played a critical role in the development of the case. Surveillance footage from the store provided clear evidence that aided the police in their investigation. In a detailed post, the Minneapolis Police Department praised everyone involved, stating, "Thanks to quick action by the store staff, clear surveillance footage, and outstanding coordination by our officers, we tracked the suspect to an apartment building on 3rd Street South."
