Baltimore Police have reported the arrest of an individual following an armed robbery incident earlier this week. According to FOX Baltimore, the event unfolded last Saturday, when authorities rushed to the scene at the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. after receiving a distress call at around 8:15 a.m. A 56-year-old man reported he had fallen victim to an armed robber.
An investigation led officers to pinpoint a 32-year-old man as the suspected assailant. As part of the swift police work, a search & seizure warrant was executed, and over 10 guns, several magazines, and various ammunition were found in the suspect's possession. As a result, the man was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, facing charges including armed robbery and assault.
Details from a second account by Shore News Network reveal that the incident began when the suspect allegedly displayed a handgun and stole shoes from the victim before fleeing the scene. The Police Department's Southern District detectives are continuing to investigate the case and have not yet released the name of the suspect. The victim was confirmed not to have been injured during the ordeal.
