According to WMAR-2 News, a segment on "The Dan Patrick Show" hinted that Adam Sandler, a fan favorite in the sports movie genre, could offer Henry a spot in an upcoming film should he reach that impressive mark. Indeed, it was during this same show that Patrick suggested he could get Henry in a Sandler movie if the NFL star managed another 2,000-yard season.
Matching the ambition of the bet, it was Adam Sandler who took the notion a step further, dialing in to reassure Henry of the potential star turn. "Two thousand yards-plus this year not only gets you in a movie, but we'll have a nice dinner together and talk about Dan Patrick's facial hair and how hard it is for him to grow it," Sandler quipped, as noted in an article by CBS News Baltimore.
The star running back, who previously ran for 2,027 yards with the Tennessee Titans in 2020, nearly replicated that feat last season as a member of the Ravens, where he churned out 1,921 yards.
