Good news, fans of friendly competition—Baltimore is about to get a lot more playful. Game Show Battle Rooms is set to roll out its first Maryland operation in Harbor East by year's end, adding a dash of gameshow glamour to Charm City's entertainment landscape. A spot for groups of friends, family, or even coworkers, it promises a splash of communal verve in the already vibrant area.

In a statement reported by Baltimore Fishbowl, David Sauer, Founder and CEO of Game Show Battle Rooms, can barely contain his excitement about the company's impending residence. "We are thrilled to be bringing Game Show Battle Rooms, the #1 game show experience in the country, to Harbor East," he said. Settled at 720 Aliceanna Street, within a vibrant shopping and dining hub, the venue is designed to cater to birthdays, bachelorette parties, and corporate events where team bonding can be a joyful affair.

The new 3,461-square-foot space will boast about two distinct styles of game rooms where players can spar over trivia in formats like "What’s That Cost," "Spin and Solve," and "Survey Battles," according to a Fox Baltimore report. With the company already having established 16 locations nationwide and even fielding a mobile road show, it's clear that this isn't their first rodeo in the game show business.

Harbor East Management President Tim O’Donald echoes a similar sentiment, welcoming the addition, as quoted in FOX Baltimore, "We’re excited to welcome this unique entertainment concept to Harbor East." He believes the attraction will bridge a gap in Baltimore's market, enriching the visitor experience while also churning out new opportunities for the local economy.
