A 14-year-old has been arrested and charged with a string of crimes, including a stolen vehicle incident, a carjacking, and a commercial armed robbery in Baltimore, as reported by local authorities. According to FOX Baltimore, the spree began on Sunday and ended with the teen's apprehension the following day.
The first incident, a stolen vehicle, occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on the 1900 block of Northbourne Rd. The second, a carjacking, took place around 6:45 a.m. on the 5300 block of Perring Parkway, and the final act, an armed robbery involving a grocery delivery driver, unfolded in the 1200 block of Woodbourne Ave. During these alleged crimes, the young suspect was on GPS monitoring for previous offenses, an ironic twist of fate that led to his swift capture.
Baltimore Police successfully located and arrested the teen without incident on Monday, a process undoubtedly expedited by the electronic monitoring device he wore. Once taken into custody, he was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center, where he now faces charges for his involvement in the three separate crimes, as reported by WBALTV.
